We are a small team of counsellors who are trained and use integrative models of therapy. Our counsellors are registered members who are working towards accreditation with the Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC). Transform counselling services subscribes to the ACC code of conduct in areas of ethics, practice, and complaints procedures. All our counsellors are covered by professional indemnity insurance and have been chosen for their genuine care for people as well as for their commitment to provide a high-quality service.
Our aim is to see clients being empowered and overcoming situations that had previously been hindrances in their lives. We work exclusively online offering therapy over Zoom, and work with ages 18+.

Individual Counselling

Counselling can be defined as a process within which a client explores circumstances in which a problem occurs. People seek individual counselling for many reasons. Some people seek to address issues in their family of origin, relationship, or work. Other people seek a space to address ongoing issues or process previous events.

Counselling is not a quick fix and may not be an easy solution to life’s problems, however it can help you understand your situations, behaviour, and relationships. This understanding will help you make informed decisions, break old patterns of behaviour, restore positive emotions and thoughts, and equip you with the necessary practical tools to move forward.

We Help With

Online Counselling

Online counselling is any form of counselling that is conducted over the Internet. This could be via email, or via a messaging service/video chat that allows the counsellor to talk to the client in real-time. We use video conferencing (zoom) for our sessions. Online counselling is convenient and easy. It can save you time, and travel expenses.

Clients will need some basic computer skills and don’t need to be a ‘tech genius’ to make online counselling work for them. We will be able to provide a step-by-step simple approach to getting started. Clients will need access to a good internet connection, a charged computer, tablet, or a smartphone with a built-in camera and a microphone. You will need a private, quiet, well-lit place for your sessions. A space where your conversations cannot be overheard.

Begin the Process

  1. To begin the process, clients are required to complete a referral form.
  2. In the referral form, you will be asked to share some basic information about yourself, as well as the reason for the referral.
  3. Upon completing the referral, you will be offered a free initial videocall via zoom (20 – 30 minutes) with a matched counsellor.
  4. This call acts as a ‘getting to know you’ session and enables you to work out whether counselling with Restore CMC will be the right form of therapeutic engagement for you.
  5. If the videocall is satisfactory for both the client and counsellor, we’ll get you booked in for your first sessions.
